Hey there everyone,
I have yet again fallen into a no-freetime period because of the constant travelling between the dorm and my home, but I have gathered enough strenght to start a brand new project.
I have been playing Pokemon Emerald for a while now, and I started enjoying all kinds of Pokemon games, videos, art, etc. Considering my old-new obsession I have challenged myself with a LONG and time consuming task.
I love seeing fake Pokemons that fans have created (some of them actually look better than the Generation V ones...), and I have always had plenty of ideas for Pokemons. Also, I know that there are a few type combinations that don't exist, and that's just not right.
These things given, my challenge for myself is the following: I will (try to) come up with a Pokemon (or a whole evolution line of them) for each and every combination that can be created including pure types.
That means 17*17 Pokemons at least, minus the ones that would have Normal as a secondary type (as Normal can never be a secondary type, only primary). That's exactly 273 Pokemons if I consider no evolutions just simply 1 Pokemon for each combination. That's a lot of work, time and effort, and that means this is a LONG-TERM project.
I clearly won't be satisfies if I only create 1 Pokemon for each combinations, so I have a feeling, that most of these will be 2 staged or even 3 staged Pokemons. There will be of course Pokemons with no evolutions, as there always have been, but won't be the standard. To put it bluntly, I'm about to create my OWN GENERATION of at least 400 Pokemons, or rather 500.
I hope you'll welcome my new project and support me with comments and favourites.
Me and my friend Drake will work really hard to satisfy you all.
I will post a table showing all the combinations to be created until Sunday. On that table the already done (and uploaded) comibations will be crossed out, showing my progress. If you have any suggestions or ideas for a combination not yet done, feel free to send me a pm, or contact me via email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Simple descriptions or even sketches are very welcome.
Thank you for taking the time to read the whole thing (if you did).
